Who say's you can't catch trout on topwater baits during the middle of the day? My father and son clients caught 20+ beautiful trout on Bone and Pink and Chrome Saltwater Super spook Juniors rigged with single in-line hooks. Caught another 20+ on 1/4 oz jigs rigged with new Penny slayer SSt and mirrolure lil johns in golden bream. found these fish in one to three feet of water withing 30 feet of shore on the inside of a st joseph sound spoil island. An awesome day!
